(此壹特征使用Igor Ruskih的外边模块色彩接口转换器,本来包罗于盛行的文件管理工具far(音乐文件格式后缀)). 另壹个重要特性是,UniRed可以应用正则表述方式全文查找. 最终，UniRed能协作拼音检查工具Ispell,许可任何语种的拼音检验,能够应用外边编译工具,能阅览软件的布局等等
